The Australian Orthopaedic Association recently held the annual scientific meeting. In the Covid -19 pandemic this was online, and Victorians were given free online registration in recognition of our efforts in supressing the 2nd wave. Prof Page organised the conference in most difficult circumstances and had excellent participation from speakers local and international covering ethics, education, joint arthroplasty and orthopaedic science.
Mr Ric Angliss was honoured with an AOA education award recognising his tireless work as the chief orthopaedic examiner over the last few years. Congratulations to both outstanding surgeons for their huge voluntary efforts!!!!
