The surgeons at geelong orthopaedics have been notified that they are to receive their vaccines as early as next week. We are very excited and grateful! This will help protect us when treating emergency patients in surgery who may potentially have COVID 19 and keep our other patients and families safe. The rollout of the vaccine for medical staff is via Barwon Health and we are included as health care workers in the schedule as below. We encourage all Australians to vaccinate if eligible, to protect themselves , but also to protect others more vulnerable community members.
