We are now operating at 75% of capacity. Unfortunately , Geelong is still considered a streaming hospital for Melbourne covid patients and we are now having our own spike of local cases. We were supposed to be operating at 100% this week but this has been delayed. We are trying our best to advocate , but this spike it means that our patients will have to wait longer. The summer holidays and omicron variant are still looming too. Stay vaccinated, get boosted, and stay safe.
