We were all very excited to have our local Geelong Orthopaedic Society meeting reconvene in Nov 2022 after COVID. Our guest speaker was A,Prof Havinder Bedi , a foot and ankle specialist from Melbourne. We heard about various foot and ankle pathologies, discussed cases and learned about A Prof Bedis personal journey through migration to Australia and then in surgery. He was a wonderful guest speaker and a lively discussion was had afterwards. We also listened to updates regarding local research, including hip fractures from Dr Bowyer and Dr Miller, knee fractures from Dr Wilkinson, knee replacements from Dr Brown, shoulder rotator cuff results from Dr Eng and shoulder replacement from Prof Page amongst others. We would like to pass on our thanks to all who contributed to a lively and informative meeting.
