Welcome to 2021! In some good news for the start of the year the annual Geelong Gift (athletics event) was held by the bay with Covid safe rules. Geelong Orthopaedics sponsored the children’s 100m event. 50 children entered and raced over 100m in heats and finals in age groups. All received a show-bag containing lots of goodies, and the winners of the boys and girls races received sashes presented by Mr Kevin Eng who is an ex-athlete. Congratulations to all participants and thank-you to the Victorian Athletic League and Kim Mcdonough from Rocket Sports for their organisation. It was great to see people keeping fit and active!
