The Australian Orthopaedic Association conducts regular inspections of training hospitals in Australia to ensure training standards are up to standard. University Hospital Geelong was recently inspected and was re- accredited enthusiastically for 4 trainee positions. All of our Geelong Orthopaedics surgeons contribute to this hospital, for training, and to treat all members of our community regardless of financial status, and it was noted we had created an “excellent training environment”. We are proud of our work across all facilities.
