We have been given permission to return to limited elective surgery. We are trying to treat our most urgent patients, but balance our use of resources : hospital beds, ventilators and protective equipment (PPE). Here at Geelong Orthopaedics we are very conscious of the possibilities of COVID “second spikes” or “outbreaks” and we are following the guidelines from the Department of Health , the College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. We are continuing to treat emergency cases as usual. We would like to thank all our patients for their patience!!
