Both Prof Page and Dr Eng provided research papers to the 2022 shoulder and elbow society of Australia scientific meeting in Sydney, delayed for 12months due to covid. It was exciting to have robust scientific discussion about many shoulder and elbow controversies. Prof Page presented several joint replacement registry updates, his results of shoulder microfracture in younger patients, and some metabolic studies on arthritic patients undergoing replacement. Dr Eng presented the results of a pyrocarbon radial head replacement utilised by both surgeons, and advised limited contact sports after a fracture case.
