Dr Liam Halliday recently returned from the 2022 Hip Preservation Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland. The 3 day conference focused around the latest techniques and technology in caring for patients with femoroacetabular impingement, hip dysplasia, perthes disease, and labral tears. There was a focus this year on operative techniques in resection of femoral cam lesions with hip arthroscopy, perfecting outcomes from periacetabular osteotomy, and plenty of complex case based discussion. Liam is happy to see patients with all types of hip pathology and performs anterior hip replacement, hip arthroscopy and periacetabular osteotomy for dysplasia having been fellowship trained in all these procedures.
