Vaccination is a critical component of managing our COVID outbreak. You may have noted that more children are being infected by the delta variant. However, vaccination for children remains an area of research. This article from paediatrician Ass.Prof Wood nicely summarises the research going on in children and vaccination which is ongoing, and hopefully will produce results by 2022. Currently we cannot vaccinate children under 12 except under trial conditions. Therefore, vaccinating as many adults as possible will also protect children. Another great reason to get vaccinated!
